Where You Can Donate
We have fourteen (14) permanent Donor Centres; eight (8) Regional Blood Banks and six (6)Blood Centres and numerous selected donor venues throughout the year, across the country waiting for you to give blood.
You can search by district, blood bank or centre, the nearest venue for you. Our Regional Blood Banks are: Arua, Gulu, Fort Portal, Hoima, Masaka, Mbale, Soroti, Mbarara and Nakasero. Our Blood collection Centres include:Lira, Jinja, Mengo, Kabale, Kitovu, Rukungiri, Yumbe and Nebbi.

Blood donation is the process of willingly giving blood to help those in need. UBTS coordinates voluntary blood donation drives throughout Uganda.
Eligibility to donate blood typically includes individuals who are healthy, between the ages of 17 and 65, and meet weight requirements. Specific health criteria must also be considered.
